I received '' Permanent Evolutions'' All India Radio's outake/remixes album and it is simply fuckin beautiful.
Martin Kennedy is a hidden gem in our music world.
this is what some people had to say about the album
"This has been on the speakers non-stop since I received it, pausing only to switch to the previous releases, which I bought immediately after hearing Permanent Evolutions ... stellar stuff, endlessly mixable.” - MadameFLY, BeatConscious.org
**Wow! ths australian band of instrumentalists make some fine noise. In the vein of Godspeed you black emperor, Sigur Ros and stuff like that. sprawling and epic and quite tranquil! - Rob Levy, kdhx fm 88
“Like the whole feeling of this album. Electronica at its finest with the downtempo sprinkled over the top.” - Gil Aguilar, University Pulse
“ A tasty laid back audio experience and probably among the best albums we have reviewed this year. ...deserves and a place among ambient chillout classics. Permanent Evolutions is how downtempo chillout music is meant to be produced.” - www.calmscape.com
“This album has the All India Radio ambient signature—it’s totally chilled..a deep and intelligent compilation, bringing together many experimental sounds and influences that let the mind wonder beyond borders. It is total relaxation and a billion thoughts all at the same time." - Brainwashed
“Combining drifting acoustic, slide and bass guitar, sweeping synth washes, and severely reverbed samples that are more often than not, accompanied by slow-rolling down tempo beats, All India Radio's "Permanent Evolutions" is the perfect soundtrack for those introspective moments in life when all you want to do is reconnect to that familiar inner something you haven't felt for a while. Recommended listening for fans of The Agriculture label, or fellow emerging artist Monta. - www.properlychilled.com
"This latest offering from All India Radio is another masterpiece of intelligent, inspired and deeply satisfying work. It's simply impossible to find a weak spot in their output - this is something like the finest down-tempo sounds you're ever likely to experience on disc." - cdbaby buyer review
"Down tempo fans, check this CD out, from the opening track to the epic last track running to about 12 mins. Each track encapsulates you in AIR space.." - cdbaby buyer review
“Good cd's like this turn me on more and more to electronic music and this one has a good dance beat to top it all off.” - Alan Stott KRCL 90.9 FM
"Excellent CD with some very filmic pieces of music..... I think "how many, for how long" wouldn't sound out of place on a Portishead or Massive Attack album, it's a wonderful piece of music" - Jazz Syndicate Radio
"I don't know how I could have not found All India Radio before??? but good things come with patience....it's been a while that I can just put on one cd and let the whole thing play. All tracks are outstanding.." - Stereo 97, Bolivia
