Gail..we NEED to go to Benicassim...even if I end up in the streets of Valletta singing for money (or well, getting people to pay me to shut up). I'll even wear a sign if I have to! I will start my own personal charity. Maybe I should consider making it an online thing... like the one where people had to pay in order to keep a cute little bunny alive. Surprisingly enough people actually paid, but the bunny died anyway Don't worry...I'll think of something damnit! We shall go! It's too damn good to miss...well unless I end up dying before then. Then i guess I will just have to join you in spirit! oh..and happy birthday Kros. Enjoy it I told you Sue, consider becoming a surrogate mother or selling your blood. Or erm sell your Morrissey calendar to me and I'll give 25 cents. Btw Moz isn't celibate. SHOCK HORROR SHOCK SHOCK! or so it was pointed out in the NME. Just stay hopeful. A pay cheque is on its way... I'm giving up cigs for it ....insomma giving up....I'm just going off them and I'm tired of making that consipated look on my face everytime i smoke one. Wow what the heck is wrong with the weather. it went from nice and sunny to grayish and drizzly.....Oooh easter.....i want chocolate. Damn i need a life......Woman! You! Me! Something this weekend! Something wicked, or tres good. We shall see! ooooh blood runs through my veins...oops wrong thread. anyone heard the new moz single? C'est tres beau but really moz shouldn't dance anymore. Am I the only one that thinks he looks like a chicken with severe diarrhea in that video?

WELSH independent label Boobytrap plans to take drastic measures to get one of their bands to tour with Morrissey. The former Smiths frontman has become a sudden fan of new band The Boyfriends and has asked them to support his European tour. There's only one problem - they can't afford it. Label spokesman Dean Proctor said, "Morrissey seems to really like the band and we got an e-mail from his people asking the band to do the European tour. "But it will cost us about £10,000 and we've only got £222 at the moment. "We're desperately appealing for anyone to help us. So far we've considered what we can sell what we own, even ourselves. "At the moment we might do something on eBay and try to get the highest bidder to come backstage and meet Morrissey." But the Cardiff label were adamant they'd get the money somehow to put their band on tour with the musical legend. www.morrissey-solo.com

Exclusive - Morrissey apologises to Arctic Monkeys Their success is 'just like The Smiths' says the singer Morrissey has apologised to the Arctic Monkeys if he recent comments about them caused offence. The singer was quoted criticising the band's rapid success while at the South By South West festival last week (March 16), suggesting it was too soon and "a bit unnatural". However Morrissey has issued a further statement to NME.COM, explaining he was not criticising the Sheffield newcomers. "I'm sorry that the comments I made at SouthBySouthWest about the Arctic Monkeys were printed so harshly in The Times and the NME," states Morrissey. "I actually quite like the Arctic Monkeys and whatever I said was said with tender, avuncular concern. I hope to God I didn't upset their grannies," he added. "In any case, I was wrong about their success being too sudden and without any dues paid, because that's exactly how it happened for The Smiths. So, I really should shut it." www.nme.com/news/morrissey/22563

The Boyfriends' vocalist is as close as you can get to Morrissey's voice .... although he looks like Billy Corgan

manchester music - indie & rockMorrissey recently turned down a five million dollar offer to reform The Smiths for a one-off show. He declared: "It has been 18 years since it ended; I don't know them, they don't know me, they know nothing about me, I know nothing about them. Anything I know about them is unpleasant, so why on earth do we want to be on stage together making music? "I would rather eat my own testicles than reform The Smiths, and that's saying something for a vegetarian." :: The full interview is in the new issue of Uncut magazine, out on Thursday, March 30. www.manchesteronline.co.uk/
