I have Pt 1. I'm not overly impressed. Part 1 has a refereshing cover of Oasis' Wonderwall which is interesting (to say the least.. and way better than the original whingey version...always gave me nausea) and a couple of beautiful songs. As an album, it lacks coherence and is a bit too short. (yeah.. its an EP and all.. but the price is that of a full length album)
Having said that, being a big fan of Ryan Adams, I still love the album and have listened to it at least 400 times since I bought it about two months ago. Most of the tracks are very mellow and downtempo (although one of the rockier tracks (This house is not for sale) is one of my favourites, so if you prefer Ryan Adams at his rockiest better go for another album. There is also less of a country influence and more of a roots/folk nuance to the album.
Anyway. I guess it didn't help much.

Ok just got part 1 too...judging by the first few listens it seems brilliant. "Avalanche" especially is sheer class. I'll try save up for part 2 now!
