It was the swanky Q Awards today (Monday) - we've got the list of all the winners below.
Although it was a daytime ceremony there was still some bad behaviour with Elton John blasting Madonna's nomination for Best Live Act:
"Madonna - best ******* live act? **** off."
"Since when has lip-synching been live?"
"Anyone who lip-synchs in public on stage when you pay 75 quid to see them should be shot."
But the pop supremo, who picked up the Classic Songwriter award, didn't seem to be too bothered at such a public slating of Madge:
"That's me off her ******* Christmas card list, but do I give a toss? No."
However, as of yet there has been no resonse from Madonna.
Otherwise it was a bit of a love in - other winners included the Red Hot Chili Peppers who got Best Band in the World Today.
U2 were at the star-studded ceremony to pick up the Icon Award - Bono tried to play it down and said the band were more excited about the new record:
"Yeah, I'm going to throw myself under a car."
"The album on the other hand makes me want to jump off a building - but I know I'll be able to fly with that album. That is not an R Kelly reference."
"It is a special record and that's why we're here really - it's just to tell people that we have something special and we're coming to a stadium and a pulpit near you."
Other winners were Muse, who got Best Live Act, Keane, who took home Best Album and Jamelia, who's Chris Martin penned 'See It In A Boys Eyes' was named Best Single.
Razorlight won Best Newcomer, leaving singer Johnny Borrell trying to take it all in:
"I suppose it means, according to all the readers of Q, that we are the Best New Band in the world - in the whole world."
"And, if you see the 'whole world' stretching from Tokyo to São Paulo to Boston to Acapulco to Bulawayo to Casablanca to London then that's a big old ******* place, and that's great!"
"We're probably going to squabble over who owns it for a little while - we'll probably do it on a timeshare basis, have it each for a month or something like that."
"Nobody wants me to have it because I'll probably lose it."
