Any reason why Alternative Malta gives coverage to events happening in the UK in aid of the Tsunami victims whilst the Red Cross event held over the weekend has gone completely unnoticed?
I ask because in reality it is more likely that music lovers would contribute localy rather than jetting off for a gig.
Or perhaps I missed something here.

Wammy: I guess its because none of the bands taking part are particularly relevant to this site's context. (I stand corrected because I have not seen the full and final line-up). Then again, considering donations to Red Cross (Malta) has been advertised ever since the event, I see your point. It's very pertinent. I guess, donating is donating is donating. Oh well.

Well Duff, the line up was actually very broad Corkscrew, Ira Losco, Beangrowers, Ivan Filletti, Tribali, Subculture, Fire and Hiddensun. We played there Saturday and enjoyed all the sets especially Subculture. Missed Sunday due to a hammering migrane, Beangrowers where on the bill, too bad.
So all in all is was a nice event and respect goes out to the organisers and all the artists who gave thier time for this.
