The only fault I can find in this album is that unfortunately the rythm section has shifted to a sort of background position, which is a shame; everyone knows what a great bass player Carlos D is. Other than that I find some of the criticisms on the pitchfork review a bit unfair but as always you can't please everyone

ok just listened to it twice- impressions so far
MUCH better than Antics but not as good as the debut.
there are lot of great tracks the quadruple wammy of all fired up rest my chemistry who do you think and wrecking ball is fantastic.
I dont like number 1 in threesome and the scale at all.
the rest are ok i find the lighthouse way too slow for me, it's like watching bergman's the seventh seal in slow motin - anyway my opinion and that could change after a bit.

Lighthouse is the second best number after Wrecking Ball imo. My third favorite must be the opener.
I don't think Our Love to Admire is superior to Antics though. After having giving it a number of spins I think that it's predecessors are a tad superior. It's a good album though. No need to argue about that.
