hmm we've thought about it quite a few times and found out that in the long run that it is better not to rate because we think that the writing itself should be considered important. Sometimes when you rate it can descend into lazy journalism or that the reader will just glance at the number and not read a thing. I think my reviews are personal because of this. however thanks for telling us this though at least I know that you are paying attention and glance at the reviews (i'm assuming anyway )

Bob , I hadn't noticed that you reviewed the Mellow Drunk album. Did you really like them ? cause those guys are hugely influenced by Steve Kilbey & The Church (they're huge fans of the band.) I'm still not convinced you gave those Church cds a fair share of your time. Convince me..hehe. Really though are Mellow Drunk worth buying ? I haven't heard them yet

Personally I found it to be a very pleasant poppy album. I first heard it on a sunday and it suited the atmosphere really well. Then I took it everywhere so yes I do suggest it- they are quite upbeat. If you like the brian Jonestone massacre there's no reason why to dislike this.
